Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Developer to join our team at CB Canada. As a Cloud Infrastructure Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud infrastructure solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Consult with business stakeholders to design technological solutions based on predefined standards, and deliver and support built-as-code infrastructure solutions.
  • Deploy and Optimize Cloud Solutions: Deploy, support, and optimize highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud solutions in support of data engineering, machine learning, and analytics projects.
  • Manage Technical Priorities: Experience managing technical priorities within the backlog and driving adoption of validated solution templates across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Be a team member as part of technical customer engagements and work closely with various business stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex systems and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Automation and Infrastructure as Code Solutions: Experience with Automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions, specifically with Azure.
  • Agile and DevOps Experience: Experience to an Agile/DevOps environment, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management.
  • Containerization Technologies: Strong understanding of containerization technologies and platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Azure Container Instances.
  • Coding and Scripting Skills: Strong coding and scripting skills, comfortable working in version control systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate within a distributed team as well as other departments at all levels of the organization.
