Data Analytics Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to spearhead the collection, cleaning, and integration of data for analysis. This role involves utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning to extract insights and construct predictive models that steer our business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements, determine relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and prepare visualization reports.
  • Gather data from various sources like databases, APIs, files, and streams, and ensure its integration into a suitable format for analysis.
  • Prepare the data for analysis by addressing inconsistencies, errors, and missing values to ensure its quality and reliability.
  • Employ statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze data, identify patterns, trends, and insights, and develop predictive models for forecasting.
  • Presentation of data effectively using charts, graphs, and dashboards to enhance understanding and aid decision-making processes.
  • Implementation and maintenance of data governance policies and security measures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Staying updated with the latest developments in data analytics, machine learning, and technology trends, and continuously improving skills and knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of data analytics solutions.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in quantitative research and statistical modeling for delivering insights.
  • Proficient in complex SQL queries and stored procedures with attention to detail.
  • Experienced in Client Relationship Management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • 6-9 years' hands-on experience in Report Development and Data Analysis.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Visual Studios SSIS/SSRS for code management and reporting.
  • Proficient in Python for data manipulation, with knowledge of PowerBI/Qlik.
  • Expertise in Data Lake architecture, Amazon Redshift, AWS services, and S3 for optimizing and managing large-scale data storage and analytics solutions.
  • Expertise in entire quantitative research process and statistical methods.
  • Ability to communicate data-driven stories effectively and achieve business outcomes.
  • Understanding of software development best practices and cloud technologies.
