The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Agentis Capital Markets, a CIRO-registered broker-dealer with offices in Toronto and Vancouver.

In this critical role, you will lead our financial strategy, manage financial operations, and ensure our ongoing success in the ever-evolving financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support key business decisions and ensure compliance.
  • Implement and enforce robust financial controls, ensuring seamless adherence to CIRO regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and auditors to proactively address compliance matters and optimize audit processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and transparent financial reports, including quarterly and annual statements.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of Canadian financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Relevant financial certifications, degrees, or diplomas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership positions within the financial services sector, including expertise in CIRO regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
