Digital Forensics Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Investigator to join our team at Scotiabank, a leading bank in the Americas.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced investigator to lead digital forensics investigations and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital forensics, civil and criminal investigation, and related fields. They will be responsible for conducting thorough and efficient investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence, and providing expert testimony as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive digital forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment to gather evidence and identify potential security threats.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential security breaches.
• Develop and implement effective incident response plans to minimize business impact and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, including timelines, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital forensics, civil or criminal investigation, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCE, EnCE, GIAC, or CISSP are desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
