Regional Development Manager

Hadassah seeks a highly skilled Regional Development Manager to facilitate fundraising, membership, and leadership development efforts within assigned regions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Managing Director, Associate Managing Director, Resource Chair, and volunteer leaders to develop and implement programs, activities, and training to achieve fundraising and non-fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Region Annual Plans, identifying opportunities to support National priorities
  • Oversee strategic grassroots development efforts for assigned regions/chapters
  • Support Hadassah volunteers in reaching goals for regions/chapters through grassroots fundraising training
  • Serve as catalyst for new group development, reinvigorating struggling units, and identifying underserved communities
  • Support region and chapter leaders to identify successors, facilitate leadership development and training, and strengthen board involvement
  • Consult with Region President and Chapter leaders to help resolve conflict and address opportunities
  • Work with Region President to coordinate member outreach and engagement, building visibility and credibility of Hadassah through collaborations with other local organizations
  • Help Region President identify opportunities to represent Hadassah in the community through speaking engagements, op-eds, and community outreach with partner organizations

Requirements: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices is essential, as is the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve fundraising and non-fundraising goals.
