About the Role
Spectrum Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients in their homes or facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, and skincare.
- Assess and respond to the changing needs of patients, communicating with our team to ensure seamless care.
- Perform delegated tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
- Travel within assigned regions to provide care to patients in their homes or facilities.
Requirements
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
- G2/G License with access to a vehicle.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check.
- Updated immunization record, including TB Test.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
