We are seeking a skilled and motivated Inspector Level C to join our team at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. As a member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the highest quality products and services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all tasks of an Inspector Level C and conducting non-destructive examinations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing NDE in all areas of the Shop.
  • Reading and interpreting documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Creating inspection reports, maintaining and filing documentation.
  • Demonstrating good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicating effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, project management, engineering) as well as customer representatives.
  • Working in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understanding and adhering to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements

Applicants must possess MT Level 2 AND PT Level 2 PLUS 2 of the following:

  • CEOD
  • UT CGSB-1
  • RT CGSB-1
  • 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT
  • 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT
  • Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry. Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations. Proficiency with computer software.
