About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and creative Visual Associate to join our Merchandising Team at Crate and Barrel. As a key member of our sales floor team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a beautifully merchandised store environment that inspires our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales growth and profitability by maintaining the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist with display changes and execute seasonal and weekly floor plans under the direction of the Assistant Store Leader, Visual.
  • Maintain and stock the sales floor, including sales counters and all store displays and uprights/shelves.
  • Participate in the execution of store window displays and assist with receiving and processing shipments.
  • Safely process and assist with customer pick-up orders.
  • Assist the Assistant Store Leader, Visual/Assistant Store Leader, Operations with essential inventory control functions.
  • Maintain lighting in the store and stay aware of current product in all departments.
  • Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company.
  • Actively participate in weekly merchandising meetings, store meetings, and training sessions.
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all associates.
  • Maintain awareness and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of computers, systems, and programs relevant to the position.

Requirements

  • Stock, Distribution Center, or retail experience preferred.
  • Good reading, written, and verbal language skills (English).
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds: heavier merchandise with team assist.
  • Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night.
