Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of bar staff.
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer demands.
  • Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Permanent position with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency required.
