Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Triple Eight Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and training workers in duties and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective transportation of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Utilize dispatch management service software to manage transportation operations and optimize routes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing new ideas and strategies to improve logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch management service software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
