Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Dentro Carriers Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our refrigerated trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, overhaul, and maintain heating systems in refrigerated trucks.
  • Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies.
  • Install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
  • Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks.
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems.
  • Interpret gas codes.
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.

  • Team player.
Experience:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
