Job Title: School Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at Driver Seat Calgary. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus to transport students to and from school, following a predetermined route and schedule.
  • Ensure the safety of students on board, including monitoring their behavior and preventing distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Complete logbooks and reports as required, including recording any incidents or issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus, including cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 or B or C driver's license.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a school bus driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment:

As a School Bus Driver, you will work on the road, transporting students to and from school. You will be required to work a regular schedule, including weekdays and occasional weekends. You will also be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
