Job Title: Demolition Worker

We are seeking a skilled Demolition Worker to join our team at Ottawa Demolition and Disposal Inc. as a key member of our demolition crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the demolition of buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and removing rubble and debris from construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in demolishing buildings using heavy equipment and manual labor
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborate with the demolition team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
