FSQA Regulatory Analyst

Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. We are committed to driving innovation, predicting consumer trends, and exceeding customer expectations. Our team is seeking a highly skilled FSQA Regulatory Analyst to join our team and ensure compliance with food labeling regulations and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and manage product specifications, labels, and packaging to meet national, state, and local food regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Innovation, to support product development and maintain accurate regulatory information for audits and customer requests.
- Responsible for understanding all applicable food regulations (national, state, and local) and ensuring recipes, labels, and labeling meet all applicable regulations.
- Manage regulatory review process for new and reformulated products and contribute to maintenance of existing products.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of Finished Food Specifications (FFS) and maintenance of product specification library on SharePoint.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, preferably in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology or related discipline - Masters or Registered Dietician a plus or sufficient experience in the food industry to cover the technical skills needed.
- Minimum 3 years food industry manufacturing or Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) experience including food labeling.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe, and nutritional database/software program.
- Good to have familiarity with US and Canadian food labeling regulations - knowledge and application.
- Bilingual Spanish and French knowledge of written Spanish and French a plus.
