We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at GameStop. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train sales associates to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to determine which products and services to stock and promote.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Create schedules, manage inventory, and oversee daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply chain issues, and make decisions to improve store performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of retail management experience.
- Work Setting: Electronic products store, toy store, retail business, or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods to manage the store and interact with customers.
