Job Summary:

The Animal Control Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining animal welfare within our community. This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can handle various situations with care and diligence.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position with a 3-month probationary period. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing animals safely, handling them with care, and working under minimal supervision. A valid Class G or G2 Driver's License is required, as well as first aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Training in Animal Control handling preferred
  • Ability to capture animals safely and handle them with care and diligence
  • Physically capable of handling large animals, namely dogs
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Valid Class G or G2 Driver's License required
  • First Aid and CPR preferred
