We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team at TaxSaver Services.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and be proficient in MS Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Prepare payroll
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Prepare general ledger
  • Prepare income tax
  • Prepare journal entry
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Invoice clients
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
