The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Specialty Lines business development, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster strong broker partnerships. You'll be responsible for managing a $2 billion national business portfolio, aiming for double-digit growth and achieving a goal of $4 billion by 2030.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to engage with brokers and drive business growth across the country.
  2. Manage a $2 billion national business portfolio, aiming for double-digit growth and a goal of $4 billion by 2030.
  3. Lead the Specialty Solutions Business Development team and define the broker value proposition for 23 specialized verticals.
  4. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and monitor a detailed growth plan for the territory.
  5. Attend industry events and network with external stakeholders as an Ambassador for the Intact Specialty Business.
  6. Develop high-value relationships with brokers through regular national travel and external engagement activities.
  7. Create and execute strategies to retain, develop, and expand business with brokers nationwide.
  8. Work with brokers to develop, execute, and monitor business plans.
  9. Become the key point person for all Specialty Broker matters both internally and externally.
  10. Inspire and manage the business development team to achieve high performance and commitment, overseeing a National team of Business Development Managers.
  11. Ensure team members develop their skills and prepare for future leadership roles.
  12. Lead by example in applying best practices for managing change.
