We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our National Broker Engagement Manager role. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage with brokers and drive business growth across the country.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Specialty Lines business development, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster strong broker partnerships. You'll be responsible for managing a $2 billion national business portfolio, aiming for double-digit growth and achieving a goal of $4 billion by 2030.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to engage with brokers and drive business growth across the country.
- Manage a $2 billion national business portfolio, aiming for double-digit growth and a goal of $4 billion by 2030.
- Lead the Specialty Solutions Business Development team and define the broker value proposition for 23 specialized verticals.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and monitor a detailed growth plan for the territory.
- Attend industry events and network with external stakeholders as an Ambassador for the Intact Specialty Business.
- Develop high-value relationships with brokers through regular national travel and external engagement activities.
- Create and execute strategies to retain, develop, and expand business with brokers nationwide.
- Work with brokers to develop, execute, and monitor business plans.
- Become the key point person for all Specialty Broker matters both internally and externally.
- Inspire and manage the business development team to achieve high performance and commitment, overseeing a National team of Business Development Managers.
- Ensure team members develop their skills and prepare for future leadership roles.
- Lead by example in applying best practices for managing change.
