We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K 33378.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, establishing work schedules, and preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient store operations.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including stock levels and ordering.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Availability for the advertised start date.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people or visible minorities.
Work Environment:

The work environment is non-smoking and air-conditioned.
