About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Rocket Companies. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software modules and patterns used across multiple teams
  • Lead the development of integration tests, software releases, and provide ongoing support
  • Mentor junior developers and help develop their overall capabilities
  • Make key decisions for the future of our systems, balancing technical concerns with business concerns
  • Work closely with the Operations team to optimize their workflows and build tools that improve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with Node, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database)
  • Experience with Browser Automation tools, such as Puppeteer and Playwright
  • Strong understanding of observability and ability to dig into details to solve performance and user experience issues
