Job Title: Construction Materials Handler

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Construction Materials Handler at Jot Renovation & Construction Ltd.

Job Description:

This permanent position involves handling and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding and other structures, and assisting in various aspects of construction. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with variable weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with variable weather conditions. Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A fast-paced environment, physically demanding tasks, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.

Language and Communication:

The primary language of work is English. Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication and collaboration within the team.Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000 CAD, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
