Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly reporting packages for business units, consolidated, and subsidiary entity level quarterly and year-end financial statements.
- Manage the monthly accounting close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly accounting reports, in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Compile data for internal and external reports, such as surveys.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support SOX compliance and audit.
- Assist with tax returns and provisions.
- Bachelor's degree, CPA accounting designation, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience with a public company.
- Experience with SAP, US GAAP, and SOX considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, across functional areas.
- Competitive salary: CDN$100,000-$115,000 per year + annual bonus.
