Accounting System Implementation Consultant

We are seeking a recent accounting graduate with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to join our Catapult ERP Services Inc. team as an ERP Implementation Specialist. In this role, you will support our senior consultants in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior consultants in gathering client requirements and understanding their business processes to determine the optimal configuration of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
  • Support the implementation and customization of Business Central modules, including financial management, supply chain management, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with project teams to perform data migrations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client data during the transition to Business Central.
  • Participate in system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the functionality and performance of Business Central.
  • Provide end-user training and support to clients, helping them effectively utilize Business Central and its features.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work closely with technical teams to resolve any errors or bugs in the implementation.
  • Document system configurations, customizations, and user manuals to maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, methodologies, and best practices for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central implementations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, being able to discuss financial management and control with clients, accountants, controllers, and CFOs.
  • Basic understanding of financial management, supply chain, sales, or manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and project team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
