District Manager – Player Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a District Manager – Player Coach at Fitness World. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our fitness clubs.

The District Manager – Player Coach will report to the Vice President and be responsible for the overall performance of two to three clubs. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a high-performing team of General Managers, supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers, and ensuring a best-in-class fitness experience for employees and members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continued execution of the General Manager job description and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain an engaged and high-performing team of General Managers, supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district.
  • In collaboration with the General Managers, create development plans for the General Managers, whilst supporting Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district for their ongoing success.
  • Key point of contact and support for General Managers, Fitness Managers and/or Assistant Fitness Managers within your district.
  • Monitor your clubs and districts Key Performance Indicators to achieve financial results.
  • Schedule a minimum of two club visits within your district per month, excluding your home club.
  • Update the VP a minimum of once per week on your clubs and districts performance, opportunities, risks, and trends.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
