Job Title: Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and caring Nanny to join our team at Marc and Celine Elfassy. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, snacks, and refreshments.
  • Engage in activities that promote social development, such as games, outings, and educational programs.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and organized living space.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as keeping records of daily activities and health information.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our children, fostering a sense of trust and security.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and other necessary certifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the home is English or French, and the ability to communicate effectively in one or both languages is essential.

Security and Safety:

We require a Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Drug test, and Medical exam as part of our hiring process.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available, and we are willing to travel.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The position requires handling heavy loads, working under pressure, and performing repetitive tasks.

Weight Handling:

The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
