Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair, including lubricating moving parts, inspecting and replacing tires, and performing other related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform lubrication services on vehicle engines to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and replace tires as needed, including checking tread levels, wear patterns, and valve quality.
  • Repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
  • Install new tires and balance them to ensure even wear.
  • Perform wheel alignment procedures and lubricate wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
  • Perform engine cleanings to prevent rust formation and replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Test tire pressure and add air as needed.
  • Ensure the shop is clean and tidy and perform other tasks as required by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a post-secondary education lube technician program is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair is an asset.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
