About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at AFD Processing Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrumentation and Control Systems
    • Inspect and test the operation of instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
    • Repair and adjust system components as needed to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
    • Complete detailed test and maintenance reports to document system performance and any issues encountered.
  • Preventive Maintenance
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to ensure systems remain in good working order.
    • Determine and implement testing and maintenance procedures to prevent system downtime.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant security and safety protocols and procedures.
    • Participate in regular security and safety training and drills to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Screening and Onboarding
    • Participate in the screening process for new hires, including background checks and reference verification.
    • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including providing training and support as needed.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Other trades certificate or diploma.
      • 5 years or more of experience in instrumentation and control systems, or equivalent experience.
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Logical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Language and Work Environment
      • English language proficiency.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
