The Department of Laboratory Medicine in Regina, Saskatchewan, is seeking a highly skilled Anatomical Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic services to patients in the Regina Area.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Anatomical and/or General Pathology and be eligible for regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). We are looking for a team player who can interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff, and management, and function well in a high-volume environment.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine is a dynamic and expanding department that provides primary services to patients in the Regina Area and is part of a province-wide integrated laboratory system. We are committed to providing high-quality patient and family-centered care, and we are seeking a candidate who shares our values.
The successful applicant will participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Laboratory Medicine in the Regina Area. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
We are a research-intensive institution with a strong reputation for innovation and excellence. The University of Saskatchewan has 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, and the College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine has distributed training sites in Saskatoon and Regina, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
