Job Summary

Rentals 247 Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Order parts and maintain inventory, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation up-to-date, providing accurate and detailed records of work performed.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring that work meets manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Ability to work at various locations, including on-site customer service.
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
