Job Title: Distribution Centre Associate

This role supports our Parts Department initiatives in new truck distribution by providing a high level of support to all stakeholders across Canada. This position is a full-time, on-site role located at our head office in Mississauga, ON.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick and pack assigned orders
  • Complete International Shipping
  • Assist with customer pick-ups
  • Assist in purchase order receiving
  • Product putaway using RF scanners
  • Build parts kits for inventory
  • Using FedEx Ship Manager
  • Filling out shipping bill of ladings
  • Assist with general house keeping
  • Maintain the department's Key Performance Indicators
  • Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion in all matters
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift Operator License an asset
  • Working at Heights Certificate an asset
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting and moving of heavy objects in the warehouse
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or minimum 2 years' experience in logistics/transportation/ customs role
  • Languages: English (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a strong ability to multitask
  • Must be a team player and able to collaborate & work effectively with others while providing a high level of customer service
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines
Work Environment:
  • Regular working hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Occasionally operate fork trucks
  • Occasional overtime as required
