Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective drug therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and vaccine administration.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up with patients, and document results.
  • Determine the appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor medication adherence.
  • Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients requiring therapeutic knowledge or clinical analysis.
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in restricted activities.
Requirements:
  • Licensed and in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists.
  • Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration.
  • Familiarity with Pharmaclick Rx software.
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a retail pharmacist, preferably in a similar environment.
