Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of customer orders and providing guidance to team members to achieve key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal warehouse operations.
- Execute warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Allocate resources, organize, and distribute daily work tasks to team members to ensure optimal logistics operations.
- Inspire and guide team members towards improving key performance indicators using appropriate leadership methods and styles.
- Assist in demonstrating health and safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Treat daily documentation in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
- Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years or more experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- One (1) year or more experience in using a forklift.
- One (1) year or more experience in a leadership role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to approach responsibilities in a proactive manner.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Additional skills and abilities: working according to established health and safety protocols.
- Additional skills and abilities: bilingual (for Quebec locations only).
- Knowledge or experience with a terminal mobile (Advanced level).
