Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team As a key member of our veterinary staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our veterinarians.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Veterinarians: Collaborate with our veterinarians before, during, and after surgery to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Patient Care: Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery, demonstrating compassion and empathy towards each pet and their owner.
  • Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of our veterinarians, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Counseling: Provide excellent client communication and counseling on animal health care, addressing concerns and offering valuable advice to promote healthy habits.
  • Office Management: Perform various office management and clerical duties, ensuring seamless operations within our hospital.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a recognized program in veterinary technology or a related field.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Animal Health Technologist (RAHT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
