About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at 9475-1039 Quebec Inc. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

This role does not require Canadian work experience, making it an excellent opportunity for newcomers and refugees to gain valuable work experience.

Support for Youths

We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the kitchen.

Support for Indigenous People

We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural understanding and exchange.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English or French, and we welcome applicants who are fluent in one or both languages.
