About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Deerwood Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, removing litter and garbage, and carting and spreading topsoil and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
- Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
- Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Work Environment:
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will need to be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
