Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, including grinding meats and preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.

Wrap and Package Meats

Wrap and package prepared meats to ensure they are ready for sale.

Remove Bones and Weigh Meats

Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Cut Poultry and Price Meat Products

Cut poultry into parts and price meat products to ensure they are accurately labeled and presented to customers.

Sell Meats to Customers

Sell meats to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or related industry is preferred.

Language

Fluency in Urdu is an asset.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with odours, cold/refrigerated conditions, and standing for extended periods.

Work Setting

Ability to work in a butcher shop environment.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to lift heavy loads, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability

Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player skills are essential for this position.
