Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Food and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Attention to detail is essential in this role.
