Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team at Jan's Precision Auto body and Glass. This is a permanent position, working 40 to 60 hours per week. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles leaving our workshop meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and assess damage to vehicle bodies, identifying areas that require repair or replacement.
  • Mix, apply, and match paint colors to ensure a perfect finish.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment.
  • Operate soldering equipment to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Remove and replace damaged panels, fenders, and grills.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a showroom-quality finish.
  • Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim.
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in auto body repair and painting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in welding, sanding, and other essential skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
