Plumber/Gasfitter - Installation and Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team as an Installation and Service Technician. As a key member of our Propane Service Department, you will be responsible for installing propane tank systems and related equipment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install propane tank systems and related equipment for customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections for customers, filling plants and service trucks, and assessing potential hazards.
  • Operate a crane truck while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing, and transporting of tanks and other equipment.
  • Adhere to all standard work procedures/policies, industry codes, and regulations, with a high standard of safety in all operations.
  • Participate in an on-call program for emergency call outs on evenings and weekends to service customer needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General or Domestic Gas Fitter license.
  • Class 3A license.
  • Ability to physically demanding work, including pulling heavy hose equipment and moving cylinder tanks.
  • Familiarity with computers and/or electronic log systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
