Tenure-track Faculty Position in Management Information Systems

The Département de systèmes d'information organisationnels (SIO) of the Faculté des sciences de l'administration (FSA) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, starting January 1st, 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach MIS courses to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, including courses related to cybersecurity governance and management.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in business administration with a specialization in management information systems or equivalent. They will also have an excellent research publication record or demonstrate a strong potential for future publications. The candidate should be able to teach in the areas put forward by the SIO department, including those related to cybersecurity governance and management.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in management information systems and/or related subjects, supervise graduate and doctoral students, and actively participate in continuing education activities. They will also contribute to the life of the department, school, and university, and develop ties with the academic and business communities.
The appointment procedures at Université Laval require that candidates' curriculum vitae be made available for consultation to all members of the unit assembly. Candidates who wish to keep their application confidential until the list of candidates chosen for interviews is released should indicate so in their letter of intent.
