About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobility and Accessibility Sales Consultant to join our team at Motion. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of client relationships during the purchase process of life-changing equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom and bedroom safety items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions to clients by working closely with therapists to select the custom mobility device that best suits their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with therapists, caregivers, manufacturers, and other healthcare facilities in our community.
- Be flexible and mobile, traveling to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and residences of clients with needs in the community.
Requirements:
- Experience in selling, maintaining, or fitting in the mobility and accessibility industry, or a background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Long Term Care, or another healthcare area.
- Sales drive, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions to troubleshoot concerns and meet the needs of clients.
- Technical skills, including experience with a Customer Relationship database (CRM) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
