Job Description

We are seeking a trustworthy and experienced nanny to care for our children in our home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare, ensuring the children's physical and emotional well-being, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding them.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  • Plan and participate in activities, such as games and outings, that promote the children's social and emotional development.
  • Establish a daily routine that includes rest periods, playtime, and educational activities.
  • Communicate with parents regarding the children's daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in early childhood education an asset.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a private home setting.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of parents.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation not required but considered an asset.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position (30 hours per week) that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will work closely with the family to ensure the children receive the best possible care.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
