Agricultural Operations Specialist

Hays Land & Cattle LTD. is seeking an experienced Farm Machinery Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a variety of farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery.

• Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery.
• Clear fields of wood and stones using heavy machinery.
• Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards.
• Develop and guide the behavior of farm animals.
• Diagnose livestock health issues and implement corrective actions.
• Direct farm feed inventory activities and manage supplies.
• Mix fertilizer and apply it to crops as needed.
• Monitor animal health and perform regular vaccinations.
• Harvest crops using manual or mechanical methods.
• Maintain work records and logs, tracking progress and noting any issues.
• Perform general farm duties, including maintenance and repairs.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in farm machinery operation or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of farm equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
