  • At Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc., we are seeking a Truck Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires a valid AZ class license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The successful candidate will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the transportation industry and will be responsible for addressing customers' complaints or concerns, coaching colleagues on new methods or work techniques, and arranging travel related itineraries and making reservations.
  • Key responsibilities include operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • The Truck Operations Specialist will also be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle, performing preventive maintenance, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will be required to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, and tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
