Key Responsibilities- Formwork and Materials Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Concrete Placement and Compaction: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, and operate power vibrators to compact the concrete.
- Surface Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, and impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Surface Restoration and Repair: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Work Environment and Hours: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
