Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team at Bohca Bistro & Bar Ltd. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in advising patrons on wine selection and providing recommendations on drink options.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons and record sales accurately.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring a safe and responsible drinking environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
