Ritchie Bros. has an exciting opportunity for a Loader Operator I to join our team at our facility in Moncton, NB. As a key member of our branch operations, you will play a critical role in the success of our auction business.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused individual to operate our front-end loaders, maneuvering vehicles around our facilities in preparation for auction. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be well-organized, and have an eye for detail.

About the Role

As a Loader Operator I, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing vehicles for auction by ensuring detailed condition reports are completed, license plates are removed and recorded, shrink-wrapping is done as necessary, and pictures are taken
  • Ensuring vehicles are ready for auction by numbering and arranging them in auction run order
  • Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers in retrieving vehicles or personal possessions
  • Arranging vehicles in the yard for auction using a loader to align and park vehicles
  • Loading vehicles onto flat beds and tractor trailers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
  • Experience as a loader operator is an asset
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
