We are looking for a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at B.C. LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various residential settings.


The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing, and be able to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments.


You will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound, sanding seams and joints, and filling joints and nail indentations with joint compound.


Additionally, you will measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, position and secure them to metal or wooden studs or joists, and smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.


As a team player, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
