Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to join our team as a Supervisor or Store Manager - Fashion Department. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fashion department, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the fashion department, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • Participate in purchasing, implementing sales strategies, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Implement and maintain the Giant Tiger retail system.
  • Manage inventory levels and control stockroom operations.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions and provide recommendations to store management.
  • Strong commitment to the local community.

Working Conditions:

  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly stand, walk, and move throughout the store.
  • Occasionally bend, twist, and stoop.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasionally use equipment, including ladders and step stools.
