Job Title: Deliveries Coordinator

At Fresh Prep, we're on a mission to make healthy eating convenient and sustainable for our communities. We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deliveries Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a bilingual (English/French) role that requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work independently. As a Deliveries Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient delivery functions, meeting KPIs, and creating delivery routes. You will also communicate with drivers and customers as needed, and escalate issues to managers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow delivery issues from start to finish, communicating with drivers and customers as needed.
  • Be an active problem-solver for delivery issues, including arranging meetups for drivers and assisting customers with route changes.
  • Create delivery routes based on a weekly game plan and schedule, using your knowledge to optimize efficiency.
  • Evaluate and communicate coverage needs and departmental capacity each day.
  • Be a power user of Onfleet, our live dispatch application, to meet timelines and strategic goals.
  • Provide support and address issues for our large fleet of drivers, communicating remotely via Slack and phone.
  • Use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate work.
  • Monitor delivery efficiency and facilitate communication between drivers and customers as needed.
  • Answer delivery-related calls and emails and problem-solve live for customer delivery issues.
  • Estimate ETAs and adjust plans throughout the day to avoid late deliveries.
Requirements
  • College or university degree (preferred), or high school diploma and equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Enjoy a high level of accountability and independence in your work.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks as per importance.
  • Tech savvy with good command of Google Suite, particularly spreadsheets, and Slack, with an ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Confident in communicating clearly with diverse individuals, ensuring the message is received and understood.
  • Positive, respectful attitude with good people skills.
  • Reliable and available to work a consistent Saturday to Wednesday or Sunday to Thursday schedule at 40 hours per week.
  • Able to commute to our beautiful Montréal facility. Work from home days are also available if you have a comfortable and quiet place to work from home.
